Belgian Defence and Integrated Police Forces | Government | 13909 | $8.2B | Belgium | SAP | SAP HCM Payroll | Payroll | 2021 |
In 2021, Belgian Defence and Integrated Police Forces implemented SAP HCM Payroll to modernize payroll processing across both organizations. The deployment addressed the Payroll needs of 85,000 employees working variable shift patterns and multiple employment statuses while meeting evolving legislative requirements.

NEC Europe | Professional Services | 1500 | $420M | United Kingdom | SAP | SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals | Performance and Goal Management | 2022 |
In 2022 NEC Europe engaged Strada to assist with a global HR transformation, implementing SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals as part of a broader SAP SuccessFactors program covering 11,000 employees. The deployment targeted the Performance and Goal Management category and was executed alongside Employee Central, Recruitment, Onboarding, Succession Development, with later rollouts of Compensation and Learning to high population regions.
The implementation included configuration of SAP SuccessFactors Performance and Goals and related talent modules, definition of performance workflows, goal cascading, calibration processes, and succession planning templates. Strada conducted a comprehensive gap analysis against global best practices, identifying a 50 percent gap in NECs original framework, and used those findings to define a target operating model that enabled a smooth cutover into early stabilization of business as usual processes.
Operational coverage combined technical managed services and local employee support, Strada provided AMS using ITIL framework best practice for incident resolution, platform enhancements, bi annual release testing, and guidance on optional feature adoption. Strada Customer Care delivered multi channel, local language support to improve employee experience and quick issue resolution, and Strada continued to support NEC through AMS and customer care after go live.
Governance and process transformation were formalized with the appointment of Global Process Owners who assumed ownership of decision making structures, and global centers of excellence standardized international talent management and HR processes. Strada led the global and technical design for the five initial SuccessFactors modules, and during NECs 2023 reorganization Strada migrated the new organizational hierarchy into SAP SuccessFactors, updating workflows and business rules to preserve operational continuity.
Outcomes reported include consolidation of 29 HR systems into a single HRIS, establishment of unified talent management across regions, standardized processes through global centers of excellence, and clear governance with defined ownership. NEC achieved over 90 percent global user adoption of the talent suite, and continued investments leveraged Stradas advisory and partner network to expand HR capabilities, including a 2025 deployment of UKG Document Management across regions.
