NEC Europe Professional Services 1500 $350M United Kingdom SAP SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Core HR 2022 Strada In 2022 NEC Europe engaged Strada to implement SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the cornerstone of a global Core HR program covering approximately 11,000 employees. The initiative was scoped to unify HR processes, improve employee experience, and establish a single HRIS across NEC’s international footprint, with deployment driven from a centralized program office and Strada providing advisory and delivery services. The SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central implementation included core and talent modules such as Employee Central, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance and Goals, and Succession Development, with Compensation and Learning modules rolled out regionally after initial go‑live. Configuration work focused on a global target operating model, standardized business rules, and workflows to support talent management, recruitment lifecycle orchestration, onboarding automation, performance calibration, succession planning, and compensation and learning administration where deployed. Operational support and integrations were delivered through Strada’s managed services and Customer Care functions, using ITIL framework practices for AMS incident management, platform enhancements, and testing of bi-annual SAP releases. The program incorporated ServiceNow as part of the hybrid support model, delivered multi-channel local language employee support, and included a 2023 organizational hierarchy migration in SAP SuccessFactors to align workflows and business rules. In 2025 Strada also deployed a UKG Document Management solution across regions to complement SuccessFactors usability. Governance and process transformation were formalized through Global Process Owners and a clarified decision-making structure, with the target operating model defined as a key milestone to enable a smooth cutover into business as usual. Post-implementation outcomes reported by NEC and Strada include consolidation of 29 HR systems into a single HRIS, establishment of global centers of excellence, standardized international HR processes, and over 90 percent global user adoption, supported by ongoing AMS and Customer Care services.
