Children's Hospital & Medical Center - Omaha Healthcare 2500 $500M United States Oracle Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR 2017 Baker Tilly Advisory Group In 2017 Children's Hospital & Medical Center Omaha engaged Baker Tilly Advisory Group and Oracle to deploy Oracle Cloud HCM as a Core HR component within a broader cloud modernization program. The initiative positioned Oracle Cloud HCM alongside Oracle Cloud Financials, SCM and Oracle EPBCS to provide integrated HR and financial planning capabilities in a single Oracle Cloud Release 13 estate. The implementation delivered Oracle Cloud HCM with Core HR, benefits administration and payroll processing modules, together with ERP Financials and supply chain management modules and a healthcare specific mobile solution. Oracle EPBCS was used for enterprise planning and budgeting aligned to HR and finance data flows, and configuration work focused on cloud-native security roles, payroll tax setup and benefits eligibility rules consistent with hospital payroll and benefits practices. Integrations were built to and from the hospital EMR system, to benefits carriers for enrollment feeds, and to GHX Global Healthcare Exchange for procurement connectivity among many other external endpoints. The program included conversion from Lawson to Oracle Cloud as the data migration path for HR and payroll master records, and integration testing for end to end payroll, benefits, procurement and clinical mobile workflows. Governance and rollout were managed with Baker Tilly Advisory Group providing implementation oversight, technical orchestration and integration coordination across HR, finance, supply chain and clinical operations. The deployment approach emphasized data conversion, integration validation and role based access controls to align Core HR operations with hospital finance and procurement processes.
