City of Albuquerque Government 6064 $990M United States UKG UKG Workforce Central TeleStaff (ex Kronos TeleStaff) Workforce Management 2014 n/a In 2014 City of Albuquerque implemented UKG Workforce Central TeleStaff (ex Kronos TeleStaff) as its Workforce Management platform. The 2014 implementation combined Kronos Workforce Timekeeping with Workforce Telestaff to align citywide scheduling and timekeeping with Department of Labor FLSA requirements. The deployment established enterprise timekeeping and staffing orchestration across core public safety and municipal departments. Configuration work focused on Telestaff modules and Workforce Timekeeping capabilities, including structure and assignment models, auction and bidding workflows, shift and assignment management, and overtime controls. The project included the Leave Module and mapping of data flows between Kronos WFC, Leave Module and Telestaff to enable import and export in synch with approved process designs. Functional deliverables comprised business process workflows, functional specifications, design documentation, test scripts and training materials. Integrations and operational scope were explicitly citywide, supporting Albuquerque Police Department and Albuquerque Fire Department alongside other municipal departments, and training was delivered to more than 7000 employees. Interface development and mapping work tied Telestaff and Kronos WFC data for payroll and scheduling reconciliation, and custom proprietary asset management workflows were developed to support technical asset inventories. The implementation ran in parallel with IT remediation projects including PC Refresh, Server 2003 and upgrades to infrastructure, network, databases and PC hardware. Governance activities included process mapping, swim lane diagramming, user testing coordination and requirements change management to validate configuration and policy alignment. Ongoing operations responsibilities encompassed system administration, training rollouts, and maintenance of business process workflows to sustain timekeeping and telestaff operations. The UKG Workforce Central TeleStaff (ex Kronos TeleStaff) deployment therefore established an operational framework for scheduling, staffing and compliance across the City of Albuquerque.
