ADP Vantage Time and Attendance was configured to serve HR and payroll business functions, handling time capture, validation, and reporting for approximately 3,300 employees in a healthcare laboratory environment. Configuration work focused on ADP HCM Vantage time setup elements including Access Profiles, Common Set ups, Time Off Requests, Labor Level Organizer, Event Manager, Pay Policies, Pay Profiles, and Pay Codes. The deployment included administration of multiple time entry methods, timecard review workflows and absent management profiles, and specific COVID 19 related time setups to support mass new hire onboarding during pandemic hiring surges. Operational integrations and data flows were handled inside ADP Vantage Time and Attendance, with regular uploads into ADP Vantage of travel expense, benefit deduction, commission, severance, and car allowance files. The implementation also included configuration and troubleshooting of biometric time clocks with ADP or onsite hardware, and regular reporting to external agencies such as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Governance and process work established detailed payroll and time procedures, including reconciliation of payroll register master control totals, validation of differences each pay cycle, and documented instructions for hourly reconciliation, time information setups, and action form processing. Day to day controls included review and sign off of timecards in accordance with DOL and FLSA rules, processing of personal action forms for hires and terminations, and training supervisors on timecard management and approval workflows. The deployment centered BioReference Laboratories around ADP Vantage Time and Attendance as the authoritative system for timekeeping and related payroll inputs, supporting payroll assistants and time keeping analysts in their responsibilities for compliance oriented reporting and payroll processing. The implementation emphasized configuration depth and operational governance rather than changes to third party partner relationships. | |
