Maggie Louise Confections Consumer Packaged Goods 10 $1M United States Stamps.com ShipStation Order Management Order Management 2014 n/a In 2014, Maggie Louise Confections implemented ShipStation Order Management in an Order Management deployment to automate order processing after a large surge in orders following an Oprah feature. The implementation centralized order intake and shipping automation using the ShipStation Order Management application to move the small CPG firm from manual label creation to template driven fulfillment flows. The configuration focused on the order management and shipping automation modules of ShipStation Order Management, including ShipStation presets for label formatting and automated shipping rules. Barcode scanning was introduced to improve packing and labeling throughput, and workflows were configured to route orders into batch pick, pack, and label stages to reduce manual address and label entry. Operational scope was concentrated in the United States, with fulfillment and packing operations centered in Austin, TX. The ShipStation Order Management deployment was integrated with Stamps.com for postage and label processing, enabling automated postage purchase and standardized label output as part of the shipping automation stack. Process and governance adjustments reoriented fulfillment workflows around the new system, with packing stations and barcode scanning gates tied to ShipStation presets to enforce consistent label and carrier selection. Rollout prioritized throughput stabilization during peak order volumes, shifting operational ownership of order-to-ship steps into the ShipStation-managed workflow. Outcomes reported in the case study include cutting shipping time roughly in half and reducing manual address and label work, while improving packing and labeling throughput through barcode scanning and ShipStation presets.
