American Heart Non Profit 2900 $1.3B United States Motus Motus Mobilize Workforce Management 2020 n/a In 2020, American Heart implemented Motus Mobilize as a Workforce Management application to centralize mobile workforce expense and mileage capture across its nationwide operations. Motus Mobilize was deployed to support field-based staff workflows and to link mobile activity with HR and payroll processes. Configuration work focused on mobile data capture, rules-based expense and mileage adjudication, and generation of employee incentive worksheets, with Java used to produce incentive worksheet outputs for internal review. The deployment included standard Workforce Management capabilities such as time and travel capture, policy enforcement, and reporting configuration aligned to HRIS requirements. Integrations were explicitly implemented with the enterprise Workday HCM environment using integration patterns and tooling employed by the HRIS team, including Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connector, Document Transformation, and XSLT, to transfer payroll and demographic data into Motus Mobilize and return adjudicated expense and mileage records. File feed integrations and vendor interfaces were maintained with benefits and external systems that the organization already supported, including BCBS, VSP, Delta Dental, Kaiser, Fidelity, Discovery, Hartford, and the applicant tracking system iCIMS. Operational governance was managed by the HRIS team, which provided 24 hour technical support and coordinated vendor file feed maintenance, report development using BIRT and Workday reporting capabilities, and process improvements across HR, payroll, and field operations. The implementation emphasized integration stewardship, transformation and reporting development, and procedural changes to align Motus Mobilize data flows with existing HR and benefits processing.
