Configuration work included setting up document types, output determination and billing procedures aligned to Sales and Distribution business processes. Enycon Informatik delivered and integrated the Send Business Objects SBO add on to enable direct email transmission of documents from SAP, supporting both individual emails and fully automated email transmissions. The SBO component was connected to handle documents produced by MM, SD/LES, PM, QM, CS and BC modules and to manage correspondence in Financial Accounting FI, leveraging spool forms and application level triggers for automated dispatch. Operational coverage encompassed sales, logistics, finance, maintenance, quality and customer service functions, with workflows adjusted to centralize document output and automate confirmations, delivery notes and invoice dispatch. The SBO add on was noted for its low training requirement, allowing immediate use and ensuring speedy and problem free handling of transactional and correspondence documents within the SAP environment.
