Exelon Utilities 20000 $23.0B United States Infor Infor Workforce Management Workforce Management 2016 n/a In 2016, Exelon implemented Infor Workforce Management as part of a multi-phased HR transformation that consolidated Time and Labor from Oracle PeopleSoft Time and Labor into a cloud-based Workforce Management platform. The effort ran alongside selection and deployment of Oracle HCM Cloud for Core HR and Payroll, positioning Infor Workforce Management to serve as the centralized Time and Labor engine within Exelon’s broader HR technology stack. The deployment used the Infor Workforce Management cloud offering to standardize time collection, scheduling and workforce attendance workflows, aligning with Manager and Employee self-service touchpoints referenced in the HR tooling. Configuration scope included Time and Labor consolidation and functional alignment with Payroll, Payroll Finance and Payroll Tax processes that were supported across Oracle HCM Cloud and PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 environments. Integrations were governed through formal integration reviews with HR and Payroll stakeholders, the project team served as liaison between HR, Payroll and IT, and the technical architecture connected Infor Workforce Management to both on-premise PeopleSoft and Oracle Cloud HCM modules. Operational coverage was enterprise-wide with PeopleSoft HCM 9.1 Payroll support responsibilities spanning roughly 35,000 employees and including activity to onboard acquired companies and consolidate pay across business areas. Governance followed a disciplined RFP and vendor assessment process with lead management oversight from the Director HR Shared Services organization, and a dedicated team of corporate and contract resources driving requirements definition, analysis, design and testing. The program was described as a leading edge initiative that could represent the largest cloud migration for Exelon and potentially the utility industry, reflecting the strategic intent and organizational scale of the Workforce Management implementation.
