Our global team of 50 researchers has been studying the digital transformation initiatives being undertaken by 2 million + companies including technographic segmentation of 10 million ERP, EPM, CRM, HCM, Procurement, SCM, Treasury software purchases, aggregating massive amounts of data points that form the basis of our forecast assumptions and perhaps the rise and fall of certain vendors and their products on a quarterly basis.

Long View Systems | Professional Services | 1000 | $169M | Canada | Microsoft | Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources | Core HR | 2019 | FourVision | In 2019 Long View Systems chose Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources as its Core HR platform to consolidate and automate HR processes for roughly 1,000 employees across North America, leveraging its Microsoft partner status to align on a Microsoft-centric architecture. The decision initiated a multi year program to standardize HR administration and move HR management onto a unified Core HR application. The implementation delivered Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources modules for Organization Administration, Personnel Management, Benefits Management, Compensation Management, and Leave and Absence. FourVision developed and deployed the FourVision Boarding Web App which went live in the first week of February 2022, and additional modules including Employee self service, Management self service, and the FourVision Performance Management Web App with successor planning were scheduled for April 2022. Architecturally the deployment integrated Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources with Dynamics Finance and Operations and Ceridian for payroll, with FourVision providing customized plugins to bridge functional gaps. Integration work focused on data synchronization across Dynamics HR, Dynamics F&O, and Ceridian, and on ensuring canonical employee data flows and transformation logic were implemented in the integration layer rather than forcing source system changes. FourVision served as consultant, systems integrator, and software provider, translating technical requirements into business language, configuring Dynamics 365 Human Resources, and implementing local compliance and formatting adjustments. Specific integration and compliance tasks included synchronizing data between Ceridian and Dynamics HR, automating leave balance payroll for onboarded Canadian employees, adjusting US leave plans to enforce accrual caps, transferring Social Insurance Number formats into Social Security Number formats, and transforming formatted phone numbers in Dynamics 365 into unformatted values for Ceridian. The project timeline spanned three years with FourVision engagement beginning in 2020 and Dynamics HR and Ceridian going live in January 2022. Long View Systems reported satisfaction with FourVision’s flexibility and roadmap guidance, and FourVision committed to manage subsequent entity and data migration sequencing as Microsoft consolidates Dynamics HR into Dynamics F&O to preserve ongoing interoperability. | |
