The implementation configured core finance and operations workflows inside Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations and introduced a specialized production preparation garage, providing a simplified and intuitive interface for employees to control logistics and production work directly from the Dynamics 365 platform. This configuration emphasized production preparation and replanning capabilities consistent with ERP Financial operational terminology.
Operational coverage focused on production planning and shop-floor preparatory workflows within BMZ Group US manufacturing operations, centralizing process orchestration for planning and replanning production flows based on customer demand. The implementation positioned Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as the transactional backbone for materials visibility and capacity alignment across affected sites.
Governance centered on harmonizing ERP process models and standardizing end-to-end workflows across sites, with Avanade configuring process controls and user-facing workflows to support shop-floor decision making. As a result of the deployment, employees can now quickly prepare or replan production flows in a seamless way using Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.
