ServiceNow ITSM was configured using the Rapid Start Tool Kit and extended with a tailored service catalogue, a customer portal, and a suite of system reports created for the Service Desk, the CIO and other operational teams, with comprehensive training delivered as part of hand-off. Avec integrated the ServiceNow ITSM instance with Active Directory to enable the new employee self-service portal and directory-based access workflows, and the solution routed work to Applications and Infrastructure teams as well as the central Service Desk. The delivery used a blended Agile and Waterfall methodology to manage professional services and scope changes, and the Rapid Start deployment completed over a three month period. Governance activities focused on operationalizing ITIL-aligned workflows and transferring operational ownership to Ramsay Health Care through training that ensured the implemented knowledge base and service catalogue could be maintained in-house. The project produced a customer-facing portal, a service catalogue and consolidated reporting capability, and the Active Directory integration supported the stated self-service and access objectives for Ramsay Health Care. |
