Automation capabilities were implemented via IBM Easy Tier, which automatically distributes hot data onto IBM FlashSystem 840 and balances workloads across tiers to maximize application performance without manual tuning. HANSA-FLEX worked with IBM Business Partner BLUE Consult and BLUE STEC to redesign the IT architecture and streamline the IT landscape, centralizing storage governance and simplifying administration. The configuration was implemented to boost scalability and flexibility and to provide a unified Cloud Storage foundation for SAP ERP and other internal business functions.
