In 2020, Grupa Maspex implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central to centralize Core HR across its Central and Eastern European operations. The project established SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the primary system for employee master data and absence management across multiple country HR operations.
The SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central deployment focused on two explicit functional areas, employee data and holidays, with configuration of employee master records and time-off calendars. The implementation included the migration and synchronization of master data for over 8,000 employees, and synchronization of holiday calendars between systems to align leave policies across sites.
The technical scope centered on integration of existing SAP HCM systems with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, connecting SAP HCM instances in Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia to the Employee Central environment. Integration work was executed by ITPossible and included data mapping and master data synchronization between the SAP HCM landscape and the cloud-hosted SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
Governance activity included harmonizing HR master data definitions and absence rules across the participating countries to ensure consistent synchronization and operational processes. The project structured cross-country HR data governance and cutover sequencing to coordinate employee master record consolidation and holiday synchronization between SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
