In 2018, Essilor deployed Yealink IP Phones across its Benelux headquarters as part of a PBX, VoiP and Phone Systems initiative. The scope covered 300 Yealink IP phones provisioned to support employee mobility and unified communications across the Benelux region. The deployment centralized telephony on a software PBX to consolidate voice services and streamline endpoint management.
The implementation integrated Yealink IP Phones with a 3CX software PBX, with automated provisioning used to enroll devices and assign extensions at scale. Kerkhoven Automatisering served as the implementation partner and executed the rollout across Essilor Benelux headquarters, handling device provisioning, SIP registration and dial plan configuration. Configuration and control were maintained through the 3CX administration plane to standardize call routing and endpoint firmware posture.
Operational coverage focused on corporate communications, IT operations and end user support within the Benelux region, enabling unified communications capabilities and improved employee mobility. The rollout delivered improved mobility, productivity and reduced running and maintenance costs for the communications platform as reported by the deployment. Governance was partner led for rollout execution with centralized PBX administration retained by Essilor Benelux IT.
