Integrations tied the Blue Yonder WMS to JDA Enterprise Planning, JDA Advanced Store Replenishment and JDA Transportation Management, with future phases planned to incorporate JDA Demand, JDA Fulfillment, JDA Order Optimization and JDA Demand Classification. Tata Consultancy Services provided technical assistance for the deployment, while Blue Yonder supplied consulting, education and implementation services to coordinate system interfaces and data flows between planning and execution layers.
Governance followed a phased approach, using Enterprise Planning as phase one and the Intelligent Fulfillment footprint in subsequent phases, with JDA Strategic Services and Education driving training and change management for operations teams. The initial upgrade was reported to be smooth and quick, and the program was positioned to iteratively unite planning and execution to address inventory planning, replenishment and order fulfillment challenges for BJ's Wholesale Club.

The rollout emphasized channel-level distribution and campaign synchronization rather than point solutions, with configuration centered on promotion lifecycle management, price rule execution, and campaign segmentation capabilities consistent with CRM oriented merchandising and customer engagement workflows.
Tata Consultancy Services ran an early proof of concept to let end users visualize the target solution, then translated user stories into the design and delivery lifecycle to guide configuration and acceptance. Governance centered on iterative delivery and user-driven design, with TCS positioned as strategic systems integrator to operationalize the automated promotion and pricing processes and to embed promotion management into Boots business workflows.
