In 2020, Miko Group implemented SAP Commerce Cloud (ex Hybris) and SAP Sales Cloud with TheValueChain as part of an eCommerce replatforming. TheValueChain led the deployment that migrated six Adobe Commerce (ex Magento) webshops to SAP Commerce Cloud, targeting improved sales efficiency and richer customer engagement. Miko Group is a family-owned Belgian coffee roaster and the implementation was scoped to support B2B commerce and account teams across sales, back-office and technical departments.
SAP Commerce Cloud (ex Hybris) was configured to bring marketing, sales, commerce, and customer service capabilities into a single platform, enabling personalized storefront experiences, promotions and voucher management, sales order creation and quick reordering workflows. A mobile CRM application paired with SAP Sales Cloud extended sales force automation, enabling reps to follow up on market opportunities and expiring contracts. The platform emphasis on account-level personalization delivered contextual experiences and 24/7 access on smartphones and computers for B2B buyers.
The implementation integrated SAP Commerce Cloud with Miko's ERP to surface specific customer pricing and with Microsoft SharePoint to link checklists and quotations to individual accounts, supporting end-to-end account management. SAP Sales Cloud integration unified commercial data and improved reporting on sales data across channels. Operational coverage included commerce, sales, back-office and technical teams, with six webshops consolidated onto the SAP Commerce Cloud platform.
Governance changes centered on supporting the entire account team with linked account artifacts and streamlined quote to order workflows, improving cross-functional collaboration. Following the rollout Miko reported improved sales reporting, more efficient departmental collaboration and increased turnover, while B2B customers received an improved B2C style purchasing experience with personalized access.
