In 2020, Miko Group implemented SAP Sales Cloud (ex CallidusCloud) together with SAP Commerce to strengthen customer engagement and sales effectiveness, leveraging TheValueChain as the implementation partner. The deployment emphasized Sales Automation,Sales Engagement capabilities under the SAP vendor portfolio to centralize CRM activity and commerce orchestration for a mid market consumer packaged goods operator.
The implementation configured SAP Sales Cloud (ex CallidusCloud) modules for mobile CRM, opportunity and contract follow up, quotation management, sales order creation and quick reordering workflows, with customer specific pricing and promotional logic surfaced in the selling interface. SAP Commerce was configured to unify marketing, sales, commerce and customer service capabilities, enabling contextual customer experiences and personalized storefronts across devices.
Architecturally the solution includes close integrations with the group ERP and Microsoft SharePoint, which link checklists and quotations to individual accounts and provide a single reference for sales, back office and technical teams. The project also transitioned existing web storefronts onto the SAP Commerce platform, consolidating six Magento webshops into a single commerce stack and enabling 24/7 personalized B2B access on smartphones and computers.
TheValueChain led the rollout and operational handover, with governance centered on account team collaboration across sales, back office and technical departments and operationalizing the mobile CRM for field sales. The scope covered account management and order-to-cash touchpoints, aligning commerce, pricing and promotional processes to support sales execution.
Following the implementation Miko reported improved reporting on sales data, more efficient cross department collaboration and increased turnover, while the new webshops delivered a B2B experience aligned to B2C expectations, including ERP-driven customer pricing, promotions, vouchers and expedited reordering functionality.
