In 2007 Unilever implemented FIS GETPAID as an AR Automation solution to centralize accounts receivable workflows and support multi country organizational changes. The program was positioned to embed AR Automation capabilities into Unilever's core ERP SAP model and to standardize order to cash processes across regional operations.
Implementation work included business analysis and design to configure FIS GETPAID for accounts receivable processing, custom web ordering, tracking, and reporting, and the development of global reports for Customer Service. FIS GETPAID was integrated with SAP to manage distributor payables and receivables, and processes for EDI and order to cash were aligned with existing core processes to reduce complexity and development effort.
Integrations explicitly covered SAP ERP, distributor management systems, and freezer management systems, with SAP serving as the core financial system of record. Development and implementation used third party software factory resources in Brazil to save costs on development, and the integration footprint spanned Customer Service, Finance, and distributor operations across multiple countries.
Governance and rollout were led through business analysis, design, and criteria development to ensure timely and quality implementation, and to enable executive decision making for financial budget and application merger. Documented outcomes from the engagement included reduced total cost through alignment of EDI and order to cash, enhanced business capabilities via global reporting and integrated distributor and freezer management processes with Finance, and increased turnaround of distributor payables through the GetPaid and SAP integration.

In 2017, Unilever implemented Workday Benefits as its enterprise Benefits Administration solution. Workday Benefits was deployed to support Global Reward Services and HR Services, centralizing benefits enrollment, eligibility management, lifecycle administration, and reporting across the organization.
The implementation was configured to support reward processes including the Annual Pay Review, Total Reward Statement delivery, Global Mobility, Equity and Performance and Talent workflows. Configuration work included eligibility and enrollment flows for Unilever's SHARES Plan and long term incentive award processes, aligning benefits data and lifecycle events with Total Reward and pay review processes administered by the Global Reward Services team.
Operational integrations were established with third party providers and service partners explicitly referenced in program governance, including Computershare and Fidelity, alongside delivery partnership with Accenture and insourced HR Services teams, and operational interfacing with Workday platform services. The deployment covered operational service management for pay review delivery to over 60,000 employees across 98 countries and SHARES Plan administration for more than 140,000 eligible employees across 102 countries.
Governance for Workday Benefits emphasized service ownership, user acceptance testing, training for HRBPs and service delivery teams, management of live service issues and escalations, and ongoing change management and continuous improvement. Unilever positioned Workday Benefits to integrate benefits administration into broader reward and HR processes, with the relationship Unilever Workday Benefits Benefits Administration supporting Reward Services, HR People Experience, and payroll-adjacent operational workflows.

In 2017, Unilever implemented SAP Concur Travel as a global Travel Management deployment covering more than 100,000 users across 62 countries. The program targeted enterprise travel and expense workflows and was executed as a coordinated global implementation with country level engagement and stakeholder alignment.
The implementation addressed SAP Concur Travel and Expense configuration, applying policy aligned booking controls, approval workflows, user self service booking and expense capture capabilities, and localized learning materials. Workstreams included language localization and alignment to local regulatory and cultural requirements, paired with employee facing communications and training content to support adoption.
Governance was organized around a roll out, communication and engagement plan that synchronized activities across regions, working closely with designated key contacts in each country to ensure operational readiness. The team created and delivered employee communications and learning materials, managed and resolved implementation issues during cutover, and implemented a successful global promotional campaign to increase user awareness and understanding.
