The implementation operated in tandem with ADP for payroll execution, with explicit operational integrations and handoffs such as ensuring leave accuracy for payroll, initiating offboarding in both Flare and ADP, and supporting monthly and off cycle payroll processing for all Atomic 212 Group businesses. The environment also incorporated coordination for visa applications and paperwork with visa essentials, positioning Flare as the HRIS for employee records while ADP remained the payroll engine.
Governance centered on central maintenance of the master employee record in Flare, routine monthly HR reporting, structured onboarding and offboarding workflows, and maintained processes for leave management and approvals. Operational integrations focused on tight coordination with finance and payroll functions, with the National HR Manager and HR team providing timely and accurate employee data and advice to the Payroll Manager and Director of Finance. The deployment operated across national sites and included targeted initiatives to support casual workforce management and regional casual pools in Greater Sydney, Central Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong.
Governance and rollout were driven by the National HR Manager, who reported to the Managing Director and led a multi-disciplinary HR team of four direct reports, with accountability for ER and IR case management, policy development and strategic HR projects.
