In 2018, Chemigraphic implemented IFS Cloud HCM as part of a broader IFS Applications 10 deployment delivered by Anthesis, with Core HR explicitly included in the scope. The implementation was positioned alongside enterprise modules to bring HR into a single cloud platform while addressing manufacturing and operational needs.
The deployment was entirely cloud based and hosted on Microsoft Azure, reflecting the IFS Applications 10 user interface launch that year. Configured modules included Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects, Financials, Warehousing, CRM, HR and Maintenance, with IFS Cloud HCM used to centralize HR processes, employee records and core HR workflows.
Operational coverage targeted roughly 75 system users working primarily out of Chemigraphic's Crawley site, using handheld devices for warehousing data capture and office access for enterprise workflows. The Azure host model supported mobile scanning and transactional warehousing operations alongside office based ERP and HR functions without on premise servers.
Anthesis delivered the project with a six person consulting team led by Mike Evans, supported by a Chemigraphic taskforce led by Technical Director Stewart Gadd and NPI and Sales Systems Manager Alex Cook, with the engagement beginning in May 2018 and including functional and technical consultancy plus extensive testing. Anthesis characterized this as one of the first partner led, entirely cloud implementations of IFS Applications 10 for a UK company, and Chemigraphic reported operational benefits including superior planning, better forecasting and enhanced capacity management after consolidating processes into IFS Applications 10 and using IFS Cloud HCM for Core HR operations.

In 2022, Elecster implemented IFS Cloud HCM as part of a broader IFS Cloud ERP upgrade that began in spring 2022 and completed in November 2022. The IFS Cloud HCM deployment is embedded within Elecster’s IFS Cloud ERP footprint, which covers production, supply chain management, finance, and human resources, aligning the application with Core HR responsibilities for employee records and HR operational workflows.
The implementation emphasized configuration over customization, using IFS Cloud configuration capabilities to remove customer-specific customizations and enable an Evergreen version management model. Elecster adopted the IFS Aurena user interface as part of the deployment, providing a scalable web interface that enables use of IFS Cloud HCM on handheld and mobile devices and supporting standard Core HR functions such as centralized personnel data, role-based access, and HR process automation.
System integrations were implemented during the project, with Aveso acting as the system supplier to deliver integrations to the product data management system, the e-commerce platform, and the warehouse automation system. These integrations position IFS Cloud HCM within an operational environment that spans production lines, warehouse operations, finance, and HR, enabling cross-functional data flows and HR contextualization of operational data.
Governance and rollout focused on leveraging configuration to simplify upgrades and support an Evergreen maintenance model, reducing reliance on bespoke code. The project outcome, as stated by Elecster leadership, is that the IFS Cloud ERP deployment and the IFS Cloud HCM capabilities support the company’s digitalization strategy, improve agility across devices, and contribute to more efficient production and warehouse processes.
