Apex Hotels | Leisure and Hospitality | 1000 | $129M | United Kingdom | Jedox | Jedox Enterprise Performance Management | EPM | 2018 | n/a |
In 2018, Apex Hotels implemented Jedox Enterprise Performance Management as its EPM platform to centralize budgeting, planning and forecasting across the hotel group. The Jedox Enterprise Performance Management deployment was positioned to support Finance and Marketing dashboards and to deliver departmental Balanced Scorecards drawing on group financial KPIs.
The implementation included configured Jedox Models and Jedox Web interfaces to provide user friendly input and reporting for driver based budgeting, payroll adjustments and Capex budget planning. Specific functional modules delivered include a Room Revenue Analysis solution, an automated Revenue Analytics capability and a set of marketing dashboards tracking website performance, digital spend and revenue correlations.
Integrations were explicitly built using Jedox Integrator to connect Jedox with the company Sage accounts system, enabling rapid accounts analysis and eliminating complex spreadsheet based data stitching. Operational coverage spans the Apex Hotels FP&A team, hotel revenue managers and marketing functions, and the platform aggregates portfolio level data to provide group level visibility alongside departmental scorecards.
Process and governance changes centered on removing repetitive spreadsheet workflows and standardizing FP&A processes through Jedox Models and dashboards, freeing revenue managers to focus on value added tasks. The deployment established a driver based planning workflow and a single platform for routine forecasting and reporting, improving cross functional engagement with group KPIs.
Apex Hotels reported explicit outcomes from the Jedox EPM deployment including a 50% reduction in routine FP&A tasks, improved quality of reporting and greater engagement across the business. The FP&A team has collected daily room reservations data in Jedox for almost five years and is extending the platform with Jedox AIssistedTM Planning to refine rooms forecasting and to build next generation food and beverage and conference and events models.

EZ-Link | Banking and Financial Services | 150 | $25M | Singapore | Jedox | Jedox Enterprise Performance Management | EPM | 2023 | Attain Analytics |
In 2023, EZ-Link implemented Jedox Enterprise Performance Management to centralize planning, budgeting and reporting across the organization. The deployment was scoped as an EPM initiative covering Management and Reporting Analysis, Financial Budgeting and Analysis, Financial (Statutory) Reporting, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet Forecasting, and Planning and Forecasting.
Implementation delivered a structured OLAP single source of truth through Jedox Enterprise Performance Management, leveraging the product's native Excel integration to streamline previously manual Excel-based consolidation. Functional modules were configured and rolled out in sequence, beginning with Management and Reporting Analysis in February, Financial Budgeting and Analysis in March, Financial Reporting a month later, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet Forecasting in June, and Planning and Forecasting in August, completing a roughly six month implementation.
The project was delivered in partnership with Attain Analytics Group which provided implementation and ongoing support focused on financial planning and analysis requirements. Data collection was standardized into five departmental templates with appropriate user rights assigned, and Jedox Excel plus functionality was enabled for ad-hoc analysis and fast report authoring by business users.
Operational coverage included monthly management reporting, annual budgeting, and monthly and quarterly forecasting workflows across finance and department heads, with every user able to create reports for management meetings. Integrations were limited to Excel data sources as customers maintained their existing spreadsheets, creating one consolidated OLAP repository without additional BI tool integrations.
Governance and process changes included template standardization, role based access controls, and a user driven requirements collection process that engaged the CEO, CFO and department heads. Outcomes explicitly reported by EZ-Link include transparent and efficient planning and reporting, more frequent forecasting cycles enabled by Jedox Enterprise Performance Management, consolidated visibility of financial and non financial data, and planned future workstreams such as cloud conversion and exploration of Jedox AIssisted Planning.
