In 2018, Associated British Foods implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 P2P across ABF Grocery businesses in the United Kingdom. The work formed part of a broader Microsoft Dynamics 365 deployment that explicitly covered Procure to Pay, Order to Cash and Logistics functional domains within the group.
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 P2P configuration focused on core Procure to Pay capabilities, including supplier master management, requisition and purchase order lifecycle, invoice capture and three way matching, approval workflows and payment scheduling. Operational scope targeted ABF Grocery business units, aligning procurement workflows to inventory and order processes to reduce manual reconciliation between functions.
Project governance was led by a Project Functional Lead from August 2019 to November 2021 who oversaw configuration, testing, user acceptance and cutover across business units. Governance measures included centralized process templates, role based approvals, and phased rollouts with training and stabilization waves for business process adoption. The program emphasized standardized procurement workflows and compliance controls as part of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 P2P implementation.

In 2021, Detailk2 implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 P2P to manage Procure to Pay activities across treasury, payables, receivables and general ledger functions. The deployment ran from September to November 2021 and targeted the company accounting footprint including Treasury, AP, AR and GL teams reporting to the President.
Configuration work focused on payables automation, vendor onboarding and credit management, payment approval workflows, and cash management capabilities. Microsoft Dynamics 365 P2P was configured to support vendor setup and credit application workflows, automated invoice-to-payment processing for ACH EFT and wire payments, and month-end accrual and reconciliation processes consistent with Procure to Pay functional flows.
Operational integration included bank reconciliation and financing account reconciliation on a monthly cadence, arranging post shipment buyer loans and receivables financing as part of treasury operations, and the approval and release of all bank payments by treasury leadership. Staff training incorporated Microsoft Dynamics 365 P2P usage and supplemental instruction on D365 Business Central to align accounting users on transaction entry, tax reporting and cash flow forecasting.
Governance and process changes formalized weekly team meetings to review process changes, precautions, and issue resolution, retained managerial approval for payment releases and vendor onboarding, and embedded controls for GST HST filing, month-end reconciliations and finalization of P and L and balance sheet. The implementation positioned Microsoft Dynamics 365 P2P as the operational system for Procure to Pay and treasury workflows across Detailk2’s finance organization.

In 2020 Kruk implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 P2P to support procurement and human capital management across its international operating environment. The cloud deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 P2P was provisioned to cover Finance, handling orders and purchasing processes, and Human Capital Management for the KRUK Group, and all employees across the group were designated users of the system.
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 P2P deployment included the Finance, Consolidation, Purchasing, and Human Resources Management modules.
