The implementation covered Oracle Procurement and Finance modules including UPK, Supply Chain components AP, FAH, SLA, GL, and Procurement modules for Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Sourcing, and Procurement Contracts. Oracle E-Business Suite Tax was configured for Use Tax and Sales Tax, including tax code and tax rate setup, and the rate to regime flow. Work also included Revenue Management activities through RevPro modules for revenue recognition, revenue allocation, revenue intelligence, and revenue forecasting.
Integrations and system interactions were explicitly managed between Oracle E-Business Suite Tax, Financial Accounting Hub FAH, Sub Ledger Accounting SLA customizations, and Oracle Fusion GL configurations. Oracle Fusion Cash Management was used to create banks, branches, and accounts via spreadsheet uploads, and Oracle i-Procurement punchouts were configured to supplier sites with content zones and transparent and direct punchout setups. Sub Ledger Accounting rules customization included modifying SLA rules for imported custom data, account derivation and account rules mapping.
Operational scope included configuration work performed in Rock Hill, SC and coordination with finance and procurement stakeholders for pre and post upgrade validation. The project included gap analysis to map business requirements to Oracle functionality, solution piloting to prototype To Be process flows, and development of training manuals followed by user workshops and training. Chart of Accounts design, primary and secondary ledger setup for statutory reporting, translation, revaluation and consolidation in GL were completed as part of governance and control design.
The engagement produced custom Sub Ledger Accounting rules and Financial Reports critical to the companys business process, and established configured tax rules and rates within Oracle E-Business Suite Tax to operationalize sales and use tax calculation. 3D Systems Corporation Oracle E-Business Suite Tax Tax Management integration supported centralized tax configuration and end to end accounting flow across GL, FAH, SLA, AP and procurement.
