In 2020, Able Australia implemented PageUp Onboarding to centralize recruitment and onboarding across Tasmania, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia. PageUp Onboarding, an Onboarding application, was configured to support Talent Acquisition and HR functions and was managed by a National Talent Acquisition Business Partner based in Surrey Hills VIC. The project captured detailed process flows and requirements through As-Is and To-Be analysis, with documented business, functional and systems requirements. The implementation included configuration of applicant tracking workflows and candidate screening steps, customization and testing cycles, creation of training videos and facilitated Zoom training for hiring managers, and sustained support and change request generation driven by proactive process improvement. Reporting and analytics were implemented using Able Australia’s BI processes, extracting and joining tables from a Microsoft SQL Database and generating multiple reports in CALUMO. Report outputs included a Monthly HR Report detailing turnover, leave liability, current recruitment and forecast, workers compensation claims, injuries cumulative trend and ER matters, supporting Talent Review and succession planning workflows. The implementation included an integration with TechnologyOne payroll, where the team performed a pre integration assessment and employee data cleanse and mapped new starter data entry processes in the payroll system to facilitate a smooth integration. Project delivery was managed through a defined schedule and phased iterations, including end to end walkthroughs with key stakeholders and remote iterations with the PageUp people team offshore, supporting rollout governance, testing and post go live support.

Learning Management and Performance Management modules were activated to extend onboarding into compliance training and probation review workflows, leveraging PageUp configurability to align templates and role-based learning paths to aged care operational requirements. Technical integration scope explicitly included single sign on and integration to payroll to enable secure HR user access and payroll-ready new hire data handoff, positioning PageUp as the central talent system of record for hire-to-pay touchpoints. The solution design emphasized an integrated recruitment and onboarding architecture, with recruitment management feeding candidate records and offer outcomes directly into PageUp Onboarding and downstream learning and performance modules. Governance and operating model changes focused on centralizing candidate experience and post-hire workflows under HR stewardship, with PageUp positioned as a long term service partner to support ongoing innovation. Aurrum leadership stated the implementation will enable the organization to attract and retain the best people and to deliver consistently great care, reinforcing the deployment as a strategic HR platform for talent attraction, onboarding and development.

Operational governance centered on a payroll led intake process, with the payroll team responsible for upkeep and validation of new starter records prior to inclusion in weekly and fortnightly payruns. Workflows formalized the sequence from online onboarding capture to payroll and T and A integration, and the system was used as the authoritative source for employment record maintenance, payroll reporting inputs, and ongoing employee inquiry resolution.
