Amana Living Healthcare 2000 $150M Australia Tambla Tambla eTivity Workforce Management,Time and Attendance 2015 n/a
In 2015 Amana Living implemented Tambla eTivity to provide centralized time capture and rostering support, deploying Tambla eTivity as a Workforce Management,Time and Attendance application to support payroll processing for its aged care operations. The implementation was positioned to support end to end payroll workflows for roughly 1,500 employees including permanent autopaid staff, part time staff, and casuals across residential and off site care services. The deployment focused on core time and attendance modules, configured for timesheet capture, roster imports, casual timesheet entry, and rules to reflect multiple EBA award classifications. Tambla eTivity was used to standardize electronic timesheet submission, accommodate manual spreadsheet uploads for day club centers, and provide the functional timekeeping foundation for downstream payroll processing. Integrations were implemented with the existing Frontier Chris21 payroll system to enable a data flow from Tambla eTivity into payroll processing, and the solution ingested roster feeds from Comm Care and Etivity rostering databases used across the organization. Operational coverage included the payroll function and rostering teams, and extended to both residential care sites and off site service centers where rostering and timesheet capture occurred. Governance changes emphasized centralizing timesheet intake and improving personnel record handling, supporting a move toward electronic filing and scanned employee documents. Process restructuring aligned rostering inputs, Tambla eTivity time records, and Frontier Chris21 payroll runs to create a repeatable, auditable payroll intake workflow.
Anaconda Group, part of Spotlight Retail Group Retail 2000 $450M Australia Tambla Tambla eTivity Workforce Management,Time and Attendance 2018 n/a
In 2018, Anaconda Group, part of Spotlight Retail Group, implemented Tambla eTivity to provide Workforce Management,Time and Attendance capabilities across its retail stores and support functions. The Tambla eTivity deployment covered a workforce of about 2000 employees and was sized to support high volume payroll processing in the range of 800 to 1000 store and support staff, aligning system capture and rostering with payroll cycles. Tambla eTivity was configured to provide core time and attendance functionality including time capture, roster management, exception processing, leave and accrual tracking, timesheet management and approval workflows, and scheduled reporting. The configuration emphasized automated exception handling and data integrity checks to support frequent payroll runs, and Tambla eTivity was used as the authoritative source of attendance data for downstream payroll activity. Operational integration included explicit linkage to fortnightly payroll operations through Preceda, enabling Tambla eTivity to exchange time and attendance data for payroll processing and reconciliations. Periodic reporting was structured to meet fortnightly, monthly and annual requirements, and the system supported ongoing data reconciliations and system health checks, with ad hoc third party liaison for team member data as required. Governance and process workstreams centered on a dedicated payroll team, with responsibilities for generating reports, investigating pay discrepancies, maintaining confidentiality, and documenting procedures. Rollout and steady state activity included training and induction materials for stores and support group staff, regular database maintenance and data integrity checking, and structured reconciliation and escalation workflows to preserve payroll accuracy.
Arts Centre Melbourne Leisure and Hospitality 665 $85M Australia Tambla Tambla eTivity Workforce Management,Time and Attendance 2013 n/a
In 2013 Arts Centre Melbourne implemented Tambla eTivity, Workforce Management,Time and Attendance. The engagement centered on formalizing time and attendance capture and workforce scheduling to support payroll and financial reporting across the organization. Configuration work emphasized standard Workforce Management,Time and Attendance capabilities, including time capture and validation, rostering and shift management, absence management, and payroll interfacing, along with role based reporting and compliance controls. Functional design artifacts were produced to define As-Is and To-Be workflows and to scope non-functional requirements for data exchange and reporting. The project mapped daily financial data flows between six core systems, explicitly EBMS, Tessitura, Chris21, E-tivity, Eatec and Virtual Manager, and extended operational coverage to nineteen retail food outlets and two industrial kitchens. Integration design focused on the financial integration and reporting needs across those systems, and on ensuring Tambla eTivity aligned with payroll and finance data feeds. Governance and rollout preparation were driven by enterprise workshops and stakeholder sessions with six business units, including the Directors of Finance, Payroll, ITC, CRM, Ticketing and Presenter Services. Deliverables included process maps, swim lane diagrams, and functional and non-functional BRDs, and the effort included SWOT analysis workshops with the CFO and finance managers to evaluate 85 aspects of finance related systems and processes.
