Legal & General Group | Banking and Financial Services | 10799 | $28.3B | United Kingdom | Verint Systems | Verint Workforce Optimization | Workforce Management | 2020 | n/a | In 2020, Legal & General Group implemented Verint Workforce Optimization under a Workforce Management program to centralize workforce planning and introduce consistent performance controls. The deployment emphasized a combined use of Verint Workforce Optimization and Verint Operations Manager as the operational control layer, with the business intelligence platform adopted by more than 2,600 users across L&G. The implementation included functional modules for time capture analysis, workforce planning, performance management, and consolidated operational reporting. Tom and his team introduced a methodology to analyse actual time capture information, which is used for regular reviews and post-process improvement changes to set accurate standard timings and quantify savings. Customised reports were created to consolidate key information required to monitor workflow and performance, and those reports were embedded into manager reviews and planning cycles. Operational coverage extended across the operational planning team, multiple operational areas, and business transformation teams, improving collaboration when designing process and workflow improvements. Best practice recommendations for Verint Operations Manager functionality, workflow, and performance management were defined and tailored to each business area. Dedicated best practice managers provided training and support to operational managers and staff in using Verint Workforce Optimization to drive consistent adoption and performance improvement. Governance was formalized through a strong governance framework, iterative rollout of best practice approaches, and active support for management teams in using reports to maximise performance. Explicit outcomes included delivery of 23.7 FTE savings versus a plan of 18 FTEs in the first year, a projected pipeline of 30 FTE opportunities in the second year, achievement of KPI deliverables in supported areas, and internal requests to extend the operational model into other business areas. Verint Workforce Optimization and Verint Operations Manager continue to provide the visibility and transparency needed to reduce manual work distribution while supporting end to end service goals. | |
