In 2014 Bethanie implemented Litmos LMS as a core Learning and Development application to support staff learning across its ICT and health care systems, including residential and community care teams in Perth, Australia. The deployment aligned the Litmos LMS with organizational learning workflows and centralized course delivery for a multi-site healthcare operator. The Litmos LMS configuration work included system configuration, user administration, course deployment and catalog management, master data file setups, and reporting configuration. Operational activities documented for Litmos LMS covered deployments, service pack and version upgrades, testing of enhancements and patches, and creation of user manuals and training materials to support end user adoption. Integration and data governance tasks for Litmos LMS were conducted alongside API maintenance and ETL processes, with explicit interfaces and data flows managed between Bethanie applications such as Chris21, Procura, Oracle ERP Infor SunSystems, RosterOn, and journal imports to Dynamics Ax ERP. Database management and reporting work used T-SQL, PL/SQL, SSRS and Power BI to extract learning data and support cross-application reporting and master data reconciliation. Operational governance for Litmos LMS included incident support, performance troubleshooting and provision of workarounds, development of test documentation, SRS and DFD artifacts, and coordination with manufacturers and vendors for issue resolution and upgrades. Ongoing support responsibilities were embedded in the Information Systems function, combining application support, ETL ownership and end user training to sustain Learning and Development operations.
