Brightstar Corp Communications 4000 $800M United States Microsoft Microsoft Dynamics AX - SCM Module Supply Chain Management 2014 n/a In 2014 Brightstar Corp implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX - SCM Module to centralize core Supply Chain Management capabilities across procurement, inventory, warehouse and order fulfillment. The deployment positioned Microsoft Dynamics AX - SCM Module as the primary application for Supply Chain Management, aligning system-level workflows with operational supply chain functions. The implementation included configuration of standard SCM modules such as inventory management, procurement, warehouse management and order management, with custom business process development implemented in X++. SSRS report development delivered operational and executive reporting, and structured data migration activities populated master data and transactional history into Microsoft Dynamics AX - SCM Module. Integrations were executed using the Application Integration Framework AIF, connecting Microsoft Dynamics AX with third party applications and enabling explicit integrations with SAP and other Microsoft SCM applications via AIF to support cross-system master data and transaction flows. Mobile capabilities were developed on the Microsoft Azure platform to extend warehouse and field workflows to mobile devices and to capture operational transactions at the edge. Governance focused on codifying integration patterns in AIF and instituting process controls within X++ code to support repeatable orchestration of supply chain workflows. Reporting and migration validation through SSRS were emphasized to underpin operational cutover and ongoing transaction monitoring for Supply Chain Management.
