Hicron delivered SAP Dealer Business Management DBM 8.0 integrated with SAP ERP to support vehicle purchasing, sales, multi brand after sales and warranty processes across the importer and dealer network in Qatar and the broader MENA operating footprint.
The implementation centered on functional capabilities common to Dealership Management platforms, including vehicle acquisition and purchasing workflows, sales order processing, parts and service operations, warranty claim handling and multi brand after sales coordination. Configuration work targeted standardizing transactional workflows for sales and service desks, and instrumenting service process sequencing to reduce manual handoffs.
Architecturally the deployment linked DBM 8.0 to SAP ERP to enable synchronous and batch transactional flows between dealer sites and the importer back office, supporting master data consistency for vehicles, parts and customer records. Integrations explicitly included SAP ERP, with Hicron responsible for system-to-system mapping, interface orchestration and deployment across multiple dealer locations.
Governance and rollout focused on network wide process harmonization for after sales and warranty operations, combined with operational training and phased cutover at dealer sites. The project received SAP Quality Award recognition and delivered measured operational improvements, reducing customer waiting time from approximately 20 minutes to approximately 3 minutes, and reducing service process time from approximately 80 minutes to 10 to 15 minutes.
