SAP Legacy SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Accounts Payable (AP) AP Automation ERP Financial Management n/a 2013 2014
In 2013 Costa Group implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Accounts Payable (AP) under an AP Automation initiative that targeted consolidation of accounts payable and core finance workflows across the enterprise. The ECC6 implementation was executed as part of a broader SAP re-implementation covering five operational business units and 40 corporate entities, with greenfield deployments for three operational units, positioning the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 - Accounts Payable (AP) module at the center of finance operations. The implementation delivered a configured FI CO suite that included Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Stock valuation, and General Ledger capabilities, with functional design, detailed process flows, and documentation prepared by the SAP Functional Team Lead. The project produced functional specifications for developers, configured reconciliation and approval workflows within AP, and used Report Painter and COPA reporting tools to supply finance and operational reporting as part of the AP Automation scope. A defined data migration strategy moved financial master and transactional data for AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Stock, and GL into the ECC6 environment, aligning operational business unit data across the 40 corporate entities. Operational rollout included business workshops to gather and validate requirements, system and integration testing, end user training, and the establishment of a BAU support structure to prioritize and resolve post go live incidents. Governance and process changes were led through structured workshops and documented to be consistent with the new SAP data flows, producing a robust reconciliation and approval solution. Outcomes recorded by the program included successful deployment of the FI CO suite with limited business availability, live operations with insignificant post go live issues, defined financial reporting for decision making, and the establishment of a sustained functional support team and BAU leadership.

Australian Payments Plus Legacy eftPOS Point Of Sale ERP Services and Operations n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Costa Group implemented eftPOS from Australian Payments Plus as a Point Of Sale payment capture solution. The deployment supported Costa Farms administrative and customer-facing sales activities documented in internal personnel records, including order entry, invoicing, credits, and card-present transactions. The application name eftPOS and the Apps Category Point Of Sale are referenced directly in operational job duties for farm administration staff. Configuration centered on standard Point Of Sale capabilities such as card payment acceptance, transaction authorization, refund handling, and receipt generation. Internal notes indicate staff used eftPOS alongside SAP for invoicing and order entry, with eftPOS providing the terminal-level payment capture while SAP remained the system used for invoicing, credits, and order records. Operational scope was focused on Costa Farms administration and customer service functions in Australia, where end users maintained spreadsheets for sales and credits and performed incoming stock checks as part of reconciliation workflows. Governance and day-to-day process structure remained operationally embedded within finance and customer service routines, with eftPOS serving as the payments layer within those workflows.
