Epos Now, as the Point Of Sale application, served as the retail endpoint platform tied into procurement, service request handling and device configuration processes.
The program established working relationships with multiple third party suppliers for hardware provisioning and device management, including Dell, Toshiba, Teksys, Elcom and HP, alongside support providers Fujitsu-Siemens, Vista Retail Support and LANDesk. Those supplier and support relationships underpinned coordinated provisioning, warranty handling and remote support operations across the Epos Now estate.
Governance was formalized through Change, Release and Configuration Management processes to control deployments and BAU IMACD activity across retail sites and office locations.
