Workday was used in parallel to execute transfers, promotions, pay and employment type adjustments, new hire and termination transactions, while Kronos was used for timecard approvals, including mass approval workflows triggered near payroll deadlines.
Operational governance included mass supervisor notification workflows for approval deadlines and a handoff process to accounting for financial validation of personnel actions. In 2017, staff activity emphasized managing and ensuring HRIS data accuracy and delivering HR customer service, with OnBase Case Management instrumented as the central casework system coordinating HR, payroll, timekeeping, and accounting touchpoints.
