ACI Worldwide Professional Services 3103 $1.6B United States Oracle Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) Analytics and BI 2018 n/a
In 2018, ACI Worldwide implemented Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) to provide Analytics and BI capabilities for its finance organization. The deployment was part of an Oracle Fusion Cloud finance program covering GL, AP, AR, Tax, Fusion Expenses and CM modules. Configuration work included designing BPM worklist-driven workflows for supplier registration, spend approval, AP invoice account coding, AP invoice approval and payment approval, and developing operational reports using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), FRS reports and Smart View reporting. The OTBI implementation supported finance reporting, ad hoc analyses and dashboarding aligned with GL, AP and AR operational processes. Integrations implemented included bank connectivity to transmit payment files and receive bank statements, AR Interfaces and Auto-Lockbox functionality for lockbox automation, and master data loading via FBDI templates, with technical teams extracting and staging master data for cloud ingestion. These integrations oriented the OTBI deployment toward supporting end to end payments, receivables and reconciliation workflows. Governance and rollout followed structured release phases including conversion activities, conference room pilot CRP cycles, test strategy execution, system and user acceptance testing, and formal sign off on readiness and risk artifacts ahead of go-live. Finance leadership acted as the business owner for configuration tasks and readiness sign offs, coordinating requirements gathering, scope definition and issue resolution during testing.
Arthur J. Gallagher Insurance 51261 $10.1B United States Oracle Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) Analytics and BI 2019 n/a
In 2019, Arthur J. Gallagher implemented Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) to provide Analytics and BI coverage across its Oracle HCM Cloud environment. The deployment was anchored on Oracle HCM Cloud releases R12 and R13 and targeted core HR business functions including Global HR, Benefits, Absence, Time and Labor, Payroll and Talent Management, with explicit payroll experience spanning US and Canada. The implementation delivered operational OTBI and BIP dashboards and transactional reports, with specific deliverables including a missing timecards report with approval actions, a transaction approval report, and reports that surface Manager Comments, Worker Comments and Manager rating fields. Technical configuration work included developing change only and full HCM extracts, HDL-driven loading of Calculation Cards, creation of fast formulas to fetch prior values, and extensive use of descriptive flex fields to meet HR and payroll reporting requirements. Integrations were executed inside the Oracle HCM Cloud stack, leveraging HCM Extract, HDL, OBIEE and BIP components, as well as PBL and spreadsheet loaders for bulk data movement. The integration footprint also encompassed HRMS business setups and interfaces to external systems for payroll processing and compensation, enabling transactional data to flow from HCM modules into Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence for near real time operational reporting. Operational governance emphasized supportability and process alignment, with assigned responsibilities for managing support tickets, producing weekly reports, and testing user defined fast formulas and custom report logic. The team engaged Business Process Owners to capture requirements, configured OTBI and HCM components to support business processes, and built complex HCM extracts to support payroll and HR operational workflows.
