The implementation was executed with Precision Task Group as the systems integrator and provisioned as a single Workday tenant for citywide HR operations. The deployment covered Core HR configuration and extended functional modules, including Compensation, Absence, Benefits, and Time Tracking, with business process configuration for hires, position management, leave administration, benefits enrollment, and time capture. Workday HCM was configured with role based security and reporting schemas, and the project emphasized configurable business processes and report automation to support municipal HR workflows. Operational integrations were managed through the project Integration Administrator role, which controlled inbound and outbound integration points and the enterprise reporting footprint. The implementation supported HR, payroll adjacent processes, benefits administration, and timekeeping across municipal departments and a workforce of approximately 2,762 employees, while SQL based automations were introduced to streamline data processing and operational tasks. Governance was formalized through a Workday Pro Certified HRIS Manager who served as Lead Report Writer, Integration Administrator, and Release Manager, overseeing a team of 11 Application Specialists. The city maintained a biannual release cadence for Workday HCM, delivered on time across all releases, and tracked automation driven reductions in processing time together with increased operational efficiency.
