James Hardie Industries PLC Distribution 6000 $3.9B Australia Fusion5 Fusion5 MyWorkplace Workforce Management 2019 n/a In 2019 James Hardie Industries PLC implemented Fusion5 MyWorkplace as a Workforce Management solution to standardize time capture and payroll interfacing across its APAC operations. The deployment is tied to workforce systems supporting payroll administration for the Australian business, aligning the application name Fusion5 MyWorkplace with operational payroll functions for a workforce within the company of roughly 6000 employees. Fusion5 MyWorkplace was configured to support Time and Attendance capabilities, employee lifecycle events processing, and payroll file generation. The implementation accommodated two weekly payroll runs of 250 employees each and one fortnightly payroll of 200 employees, with configuration work focused on T&A rule sets, pay period cadence, roster and exception handling, and payroll export mapping. Integrations were implemented with ADP Payforce for payroll processing and with Mitre Finch time and attendance feeds alongside the MWP T&A system, reflecting a hybrid time capture and payroll interface architecture. Operational coverage included Australian payrolls within the James Hardie Building Products APAC footprint, and the system handled statutory payment uploads and jurisdictional requirements at the state level. Operational governance and process workflows were revised to centralize activities such as checking new hires and terminations, administering ATO and childcare payment uploads, managing superannuation submissions, and administering Queensland portable long service leave for one payroll. Regular payroll officer tasks were carried out through Fusion5 MyWorkplace and the integrated payroll feeds, providing a single point of operational control for time capture and payroll handover.
Resorts World Sentosa Leisure and Hospitality 6000 $920M Singapore UniFocus UniFocus KnowCross Workforce Management 2019 n/a In 2019 Resorts World Sentosa implemented UniFocus KnowCross as its Workforce Management platform to standardize frontline staff coordination across hospitality operations, facilities, and guest services. The deployment targeted operational teams including Operations, Facilities Management, and the Call Centre Helpdesk, aligning workforce processes with established hotel and resort service workflows. UniFocus KnowCross was configured to support core Workforce Management capabilities, including shift scheduling, task orchestration, incident and task management, and operational checklists and compliance workflows common to hospitality operations. Configuration emphasized role-based task assignment and event-driven task escalation to ensure visible accountability across service and facilities teams. The implementation was integrated with existing hospitality systems explicitly referenced by project leadership, including the Maximo Facilities Management environment and guest systems such as Opera PMS, Salesforce, Delphi, and Synxis related services. Integrations focused on bidirectional task and asset context handoffs, so task assignments in UniFocus KnowCross carried property and guest context from property management and CRM systems to operational responders. Governance and rollout were led by a Senior Project Manager who acted as point of contact for vendors, business units, and C-suite stakeholders, and who prepared a Corporate Train the Trainer curriculum for Operations and knowledge transfer to the Call Centre Helpdesk. The project was executed by cross-functional teams with a continuous feedback loop for process improvement and change management, and completed within established timeframes and budget as part of a portfolio of high-visibility system initiatives.
