INNO Retail 1000 $250M Belgium SAP SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Core HR 2023 Persolis In 2023 INNO implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR platform to consolidate payroll and broader HR services across the retailer. The initiative was framed as a move to modernize HR processes, reduce administrative burden, and improve data governance including GDPR related controls while enabling omnichannel employee access via PC, smartphone and tablet. The deployment configured payroll processing alongside time management, leave and absence management, performance appraisal workflows and learning management including online tutorials. SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central was used to digitalize assessment and training management processes and to provide decentralized self service for employees and managers, reducing manual HR and payroll tasks. Persolis served as the implementation partner and engaged in a methodology and business support approach, working in collaboration with INNO and the social secretariat Partena. Key technical activities included restoring and migrating payroll data, analyzing and reexpressing payroll rules for the new platform, and validating wage results through parallel testing over several months to ensure continuity of payroll operations. Governance emphasized SAP recommended best practices adapted to INNO requirements, formalized specification gatherings, extensive testing cycles, and end user support delivered by Persolis to smooth the transition. Since October 2023 the rollout has been completed, delivering a single coherent HR tool with decentralized administration and a user friendly interface, and enabling INNO to adopt biannual SAP SuccessFactors feature updates at its own pace.
