Apollo Pharmacy | Retail | 30000 | $671M | India | Adrenalin | Adrenalin Max HCM | Core HR | 2016 | n/a | In 2016, Apollo Pharmacy Ltd. implemented Adrenalin Max HCM as an on premise Core HCM deployment to centralize human capital processes for more than 19,000 employees across its network of over 2,500 retail outlets in India. The implementation addressed a stated need to manage the employee lifecycle from recruitment to exit and to provide real time reports for executive decision making, while standardizing HR and training consistency across store locations. Adrenalin Max HCM was configured with explicit modules for On-Boarding & Exit, Payroll Management, Leave & Attendance Management, Shift Management, Training Management, Travel Management, and Employee Self Service including Claims & Reimbursement. The deployment also included iReporter as a reporting and employee analytics capability to generate head count, joining, movement, and separation reports with export to Excel and PDF. These modules supported both transactional HR workflows and workforce analytics that executives and HR operations used for rapid decisions. Architecturally the solution was provisioned on an on premise platform with regional process owners creating and maintaining employment records that feed a centralized corporate HR repository. Payroll processing workflow was redesigned to run centrally on Adrenalin Max HCM, reducing manual consolidation and enabling error free payroll runs. The system provided a single source of truth for employee master data, attendance records, leave balances, claims, training completion and shift rosters. Governance changes included standardized data entry and approval workflows across retail outlets, real time availability of critical HR reports to corporate management, and the delegation of record creation to regional owners to keep data current. Operational coverage emphasized retail HR and store level consistency, aligning training programs and attendance policies across sites. Report generation and iReporter analytics were positioned as the primary control and insight mechanism for HR governance. Documented outcomes in the implementation narrative include a reduction in payroll processing time from several days to a few hours, elimination of manual consolidation efforts, standardized HR processes across 2,500 outlets, and improved human capital insights via Adrenalin Max HCM reporting. The solution supported faster payroll cycles, better maintenance of employee data, and broader employee self service adoption for daily HR activities. | |
