Operational coverage spanned store POS terminals, centralized inventory and procurement functions, and corporate finance and HR systems across the Philippines, providing cohesive data flow from sourcing to sales reporting.
Governance focused on adopting global best practices and a formal change management approach to standardize processes and simplify previously fragmented workflows. Duty Free Philippines expected to streamline and standardize business processes and improve day-to-day operations by centralizing retail transaction processing and enterprise functions into Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail POS, with Hitachi Solutions Philippines Corporation collaborating with internal IT and business teams to configure and roll out the solution.
