Adira Dinamika Multi Finance | Banking and Financial Services | 14358 | $472M | Indonesia | Alibaba | Alibaba Cloud | Application Hosting and Computing Services | 2021 | n/a |
In 2021, Adira Dinamika Multi Finance implemented Alibaba Cloud as a Cloud Infrastructure platform to host SAP S/4HANA ERP and HCM development environments and to modernize its IT foundation across Indonesia. The deployment was positioned to support Adira's network of 588 branches and to provide a scalable, hybrid cloud architecture that addresses compute, database, networking, and security needs.
The implementation centralizes core functional modules on Alibaba Cloud, using Elastic Compute Service for virtual servers and Server Load Balancer for distributed traffic handling and elastic scaling. Database and storage needs were provisioned with ApsaraDB RDS and Object Storage Service, and Web Application Firewall was deployed for on-cloud monitoring and malicious traffic protection. Express Connect was used to establish private connectivity and to secure network paths between cloud and on premises components.
Alibaba Cloud hosts the SAP S/4HANA development environments for both ERP and HCM, integrating application workloads with the cloud infrastructure stack to shorten provisioning cycles and improve processing times. The architecture emphasizes a hybrid model where on premises and cloud resources are orchestrated through dedicated networking and right fit instance selection for memory intensive workloads. Operational coverage is focused on finance and customer servicing functions across Adira's branch network and customer touch points in Indonesia.
Governance and rollout details highlight faster provisioning with environment spin up in less than two weeks, secured private connections via Express Connect, and SLAs that support cost effective resource consumption. Adira plans to continue leveraging Alibaba Cloud to maximize its business plan and maintain agility in serving its diverse customer base, while using cloud native products to standardize infrastructure operations and security controls.
