In 2015, A2A implemented OpenText Documentum D2 for Document Management within the ICT Area responsible for customer management of A2A Energia. The deployment targeted customer-facing and back office operations, covering call center, front-office, back office, customer experience and digital teams.
OpenText Documentum D2 was configured to deliver repository centric document lifecycle management, metadata indexing, role based access controls, full text search and case oriented workspace templates consistent with Document Management best practices. Configuration work focused on document versioning, records controls and workflow orchestration to manage customer correspondence, account documentation and fulfillment artifacts.
The implementation integrated with the ICT Area application landscape that includes CRM SAP 5.0, the offering application SFDC, CTI from Genesys, the public website on open CMS and the provisioning system built on custom Java with Oracle database. Integration points emphasized contextual document retrieval from customer records, embedded content links into CRM and SFDC transactions, CTI driven screen context for call handling and automated handoff of documents into provisioning processes while retaining the enterprise repository as the authoritative store.
Governance and rollout were led by the ICT Area for Customer mgmt of A2A Energia, aligning document access policies with customer management and call center processes. The program formalized workflow templates and access rules to route content across front office and back office teams and established content governance tied to customer experience operations.

Governance changes included formalized document control and workflow approvals driven by the finance and IT teams, plus process redesign of invoice handling to reduce manual touchpoints. In 2015 Banco Original implemented OpenText Documentum D2 for Document Management. OpenText Documentum D2 was provisioned as the enterprise content platform to centralize document storage and to generate financial contracts tied to customer data projects for the bank’s newly launched digital banking operations.
The implementation emphasized document storage and contract generation capabilities, with configuration for metadata driven classification, version control, and lifecycle governance consistent with Document Management practice. Document generation routines were combined with customer attribute feeds to produce financial contracts, and records retention and search were configured to support operational workloads.
Operationally the Documentum D2 environment supported customer onboarding and downstream workflows that paralleled the bank’s IBM BPM process footprint, which ran on Linux and Oracle for account opening, customer relationship initiation, account and credit card acquiring, customer data maintenance, and credit limit concession and maintenance. The deployment served the digital bank’s core customer facing and credit documentation functions and was aligned with ECM projects previously executed using OpenText Content Server and Perfectus.
Application governance was handled by the internal team that performed analysis, delivered minor enhancements, and managed bug fixes, the same team that was co responsible for the broader ECM program. Operational support and iterative configuration changes were part of the rollout approach to align Documentum D2 with ongoing BPM and customer data initiatives.
