AXA UK Insurance 10000 $6.2B United Kingdom Oracle Oracle Fusion HCM Analytics Workforce Analytics 2016 n/a
In 2016 AXA UK implemented Oracle Fusion HCM Analytics as a component of its broader Workforce Analytics and Oracle HCM Cloud program. The Oracle Fusion HCM Analytics deployment formed part of a coordinated global HRIS initiative managed through a Group PMO and a Country Program Manager structure to deliver new Layer 4 HR processes and a Target Operating Model for HR services. The implementation covered core HR analytics capabilities and was delivered alongside HCM modules including Workforce Administration, TALEO applicant tracking, Performance and Talent, Compensation, Learning and Development, Resourcing and Payroll activities. Oracle Fusion HCM Analytics was configured to support pilots for BI and Strategic Workforce Planning, and to expose self service capabilities for employees and managers through an HR Portal offering Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service. Architecturally the program used cloud based Oracle Fusion HCM and included PaaS components, a Central Integration Layer and core model builds to stitch analytics into the HRIS suite. The program included PeopleSoft decommissioning activity as part of the wider HCM suite implementation, and integrations were orchestrated to support TALEO and a Vendor Management System procurement for contingent labour management including SAP Fieldglass related RFP activity. Governance and rollout were managed via a Group PMO that defined global governance, reporting and risk management, and operated Executive Steering Committees and HR leadership reporting at country level. Implementation workstreams were driven with Global Process Owners and SME groups through challenger sessions to define Layer 4 process maps, and the program defined an industrialized rollout process and a Global Deployment Roadmap, with oversight of data privacy and data security to ensure GDPR and country level compliance. The program scope included establishment of HR Shared Services centres and Centres of Expertise and required matrix management of implementers including Deloitte, KPMG, Infosys and AXA technology teams. The program delivered pilots across Resourcing, Performance and Talent, Learning and Development and Strategic Workforce Planning, was responsible for recovery of the AXA UK Oracle HCM Cloud program and contributed to a Group efficiency restructuring that produced savings in excess of €8M.
