Atomic 212 Media 150 $15M Australia Flare HR Flare HR Core HR Core HR 2018 n/a In 2018, Atomic 212 implemented Flare HR Core HR to centralize core HR administration across the agency. The deployment was embedded into the People and Culture operating model, with the People, Culture & Payroll Manager providing day to day administration and supporting the People & Culture Director and Head of Finance. Flare HR Core HR was configured to manage employee lifecycle workflows including onboarding, offboarding, employee master data, leave management and approvals, contract preparation, probation and promotion documentation, and monthly HR reporting. The People, Culture & Payroll Manager served as Flare administrator, maintaining the employee information master, replicating staff files maintained in Google Docs into Flare, and owning HR policy documentation and process configuration. The implementation operated in tandem with ADP for payroll execution, with explicit operational integrations and handoffs such as ensuring leave accuracy for payroll, initiating offboarding in both Flare and ADP, and supporting monthly and off cycle payroll processing for all Atomic 212 Group businesses. The environment also incorporated coordination for visa applications and paperwork with visa essentials, positioning Flare as the HRIS for employee records while ADP remained the payroll engine. Governance centered on central maintenance of the master employee record in Flare, routine monthly HR reporting, structured onboarding and offboarding workflows, and maintained processes for leave management and approvals. Operational responsibilities included HR email triage, flagging new starters probations and departures in manager diaries, and ensuring policy and staff file consistency, making Flare HR Core HR the authoritative Core HR system for Atomic 212.
