City staff worked with Dayforce resources to operationalize onboarding documents and to configure learning paths and assessment tracking inside Ceridian Dayforce Learning. Governance and workflow changes accompanied the technical rollout, with a shared personnel schedule implemented, revised job description approval workflows, and a formal process for requesting new or reclassified positions in the system. The Employee Handbook was updated to reflect Civil Service Recruitment and promotional processes, improving alignment between job descriptions, compensation plans, and Dayforce records. HR also instituted a new employee and employer driven performance review process and created standard operating procedures for budget and file organization to support ongoing system governance. Operational outcomes explicitly reported include successful management of Open Enrollment goals for employees and retirees, finalized ACA hours integration in Dayforce, and migration of onboarding documents and certification records into the system. The City also completed vendor onboarding for benefits and recruitment vendors as part of broader HR modernization efforts tied to Dayforce capabilities.
