Centralized services built in the GIA private cloud included email, CRM MS Dynamics, SAP ERP and SharePoint, and relevant data was moved from the group system into the Afag system using a carve-out procedure without interrupting operations. Governance and rollout were organized with Aveniq coordinating deployment and GIA providing Platform as a Service, data center services and SAP basis support, following an everything from a single source approach. Responsibility and operational ownership were kept clear, enabling adjustments for future acquisitions without major new infrastructure spend.
