Alcool NB Liquor | Retail | 800 | $544M | Canada | Microsoft | Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations | ERP Financial | 2022 |
In 2022 Alcool NB Liquor implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as the core ERP Financial platform to support the rapid launch of Cannabis NB retail and e-commerce operations. Ernst & Young acted as the system integrator on a fixed six month delivery timeline that delivered a unified commerce experience across online and 20 physical stores.
The implementation configured Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations to handle product and catalog management, payment and checkout workflows, operations management for 20 physical stores, and content-driven educational requirements tied to regulatory compliance. The solution was deployed alongside Optimizely Digital Experience Platform to deliver a content-rich commerce front end, and Modern POS was used as the point of sale layer to unify in-store and online transactions.
The architecture used Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure to provide scalability and absorb traffic spikes during launch, with a native integration between Optimizely and Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Retail and Modern POS. Explicit third party integrations implemented included payment solutions, third party logistics providers, and supplier product information feeds, enabling a connected digital commerce ecosystem and supporting subsequent omnichannel scenarios such as buy online for in-store pick up, ship to home from store, and distributed order management currently under development.
Governance and operational transformation centered on meeting stringent cannabis commercialization regulations, embedding comprehensive educational content and controls into commerce flows to enforce age and product guidance, and enabling a nimble ANBL operations team to manage content and catalog rules. The project went live in under six months, attracted four million page views in the first month, and achieved five percent of sales online in the first month, while the Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations ERP Financial deployment was designed for future scalability and additional omnichannel enhancements.

Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik Anonim Sirketi | Insurance | 1015 | $418M | Turkey | Fadata | INSIS Platform Policy Administration | Insurance Policy Administration | 2016 |
In 2016 Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik Anonim Sirketi implemented INSIS Platform Policy Administration as its Insurance Policy Administration application to centralize life and pensions policy processing and administration across Turkey. The INSIS Platform Policy Administration deployment targeted core policy lifecycle management and operational consolidation for life and pensions lines of business.
The implementation configured core modules for policy administration, collections, and claims, and included product configuration and workflow automation to accelerate product rollout. INSIS Platform Policy Administration was used to standardize policy data models and enforce underwriting and billing workflows consistent with Insurance Policy Administration functional patterns.
Ernst & Young served as the system integrator for the program and executed a large scale data migration, moving 2.3 million policies in a single February 2017 cutover while operationalizing collections and claims processing on the new platform. Operational coverage explicitly encompassed life and pensions business functions across Turkey, with deployment orchestration focused on a single-wave cutover and centralized platform governance.
Governance and rollout were delivered in coordination with Ernst & Young and included cutover sequencing and data reconciliation processes to transition policy administration, collections, and claims to the INSIS Platform Policy Administration environment. The program reduced time-to-market for new products from months to about one week and delivered major operational efficiency gains as reported by the implementation stakeholders.
