In 2017 Precision Group implemented Oracle Cloud HCM, deploying the Core HR application across the Group as a core element of a broader digital transformation program. The Oracle Cloud HCM rollout was executed under the Oracle Fusion R13 Edge program, positioning Core HR alongside other Fusion modules to establish a unified cloud HR foundation for employee record management, payroll interface points, and time and attendance processing.
Wipro served as the systems integrator and managed the implementation, delivering configuration and module-level deployments that included Fusion HCM, Payroll, Oracle Time and Labor, Fusion Order Management, Fusion Manufacturing, Fusion CRM, Fusion Procurement, Fusion Inventory, Fusion Financials, Fusion WMS and Fusion BICS. The implementation emphasized module configuration, role-based security, and cloud tenant provisioning within the Oracle R13 cloud architecture to support HR workflows, payroll runs, and workforce time tracking.
Operational coverage extended across HR, payroll, finance, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain and customer engagement functions, with Oracle Cloud HCM integrated as the Core HR backbone alongside enterprise financial and supply chain modules. The program was managed by the Group IT organization, which provided infrastructure and architecture direction, applications development and integration, and centralized release coordination to ensure consistent functional coverage across business units.
Governance was formalized through IT strategic planning and business technology standards, with the IT leadership team defining mid-range and long-range strategy, annual IT budgets, and governance processes that encompassed Oracle Cloud HCM. The HCM deployment was aligned with concurrent transformation initiatives such as IoT enabled smart factory projects, CX platform enablement, RPA with intelligent process automation, and an AI strategy, positioning Oracle Cloud HCM within a group-wide roadmap for standardized HR, payroll, and workforce management capabilities.
