In 2018 Augill Castle implemented Epos Now Point Of Sale to support its hotel, restaurant and bar operations across front of house and back of house functions. Epos Now was configured as a networked till and sales system, with configuration work covering cash handling workflows, menu and drinks assortment changes, table management and staff permission settings. The duty manager handled initial setup and ongoing maintenance of Epos Now, and used the application to align F&B ordering and point of sale operations with day to day deliveries and supplier negotiations. Ownership and governance rested with hotel management and the duty manager, who provided staff training, procedural controls for cash handling and maintained the Epos Now installation alongside other operational responsibilities to support guest service.
