The application was provisioned as a Java 8 web application on Tomcat 9, using Microsoft SQL Server for persistence and leveraging AWS RDS and AWS EC2 for compute and database hosting, with container and automation tooling such as Docker and HashiCorp components used for operational provisioning.
Deployment and operations were hybrid cloud focused, using AWS IAM for environment access control and Rackspace Data Centre Management during the ANDE Data Centre Migration Programme which merged ANDE and ITB infrastructure. Monitoring and operational telemetry were implemented with Sensu and ELKstack, while Jira Service Desk and Confluence were matured as the service management and runbook platforms to support application support and incident workflows.
Governance was formalised under existing Incident, Change and Problem Management processes with the operations lead accountable for enabling Helpdesk, Application Support and Systems Administration teams. The operations team managed third party provider relationships and operational spend oversight, ensuring the operational model and support staff were aligned to the Insurance ERP service model prior to and following go live.

These modules were integrated into cross-functional operational workflows for underwriting, claims, billing and agency servicing to establish a unified data model and process orchestration across business functions.
Governance for the deployment established joint ownership between IT, claims and underwriting, and rollout coordination leveraged the sister association relationship for implementation guidance and best practice alignment. Collin Moody, Vice President and Chief Information Officer, noted that after deeper technical evaluation the merits of Guidewire InsuranceSuite stood on their own, reinforcing the organizationwide commitment to standardize core processing on Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
