Brown Thomas Arnotts Retail 1820 $394M Ireland Infor Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management ERP Financial 2019 n/a
In 2019, Brown Thomas Arnotts implemented Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management. The deployment targeted core finance and supply management processes within the ERP Financial category and replaced Oracle E-Business Suite as the group finance platform. The implementation centered on financial accounting and reporting capabilities, including month end management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory financial statement preparation and year end consolidation workflows. Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management was configured to host the reporting section required for group packs and to support budgeting and reforecasting processes used by FP&A and local finance teams. Integration and operational coverage focused on aligning the new application with Group FP&A, local finance teams in both Arnotts and Brown Thomas, and external audit processes. The project team liaised directly with Infor consultants on report design and accuracy, ensuring the reporting outputs met the requirements for the Business Review Pack presented to the CEO of the Selfridges Group and for direct reporting to the FD and MD of Brown Thomas Arnotts. Governance and process changes included formalizing month end and year end responsibilities in the new application, creating a centralized reporting section within Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management, and embedding new handoffs between accounting, FP&A and external audit contacts. The Financial Accountant role supported delivery by leading the creation of the reporting configuration, validating report accuracy with consultants, and operationalizing the management and statutory reporting workflows.
City of New Orleans Government 5751 $1.4B United States Infor Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management ERP Financial 2018 n/a
In 2018, the City of New Orleans implemented Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management, an ERP Financial application, under the enterprise program known as Project BRASS. The program consolidated financial and supply management processes while requiring extraction, cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, and retention of two decades of financial records to satisfy federal audit and grant reporting requirements following major events such as Hurricane Katrina. The Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management deployment encompassed core financial modules and supply management capabilities, with explicit workstreams for general ledger restructuring, vendor classification and survivorship, accounts payable workflows, and contract attachment handling. The project required reconfiguration of GL accounting structures and extensive reconciliation processes to align 14 million historical general ledger records and complex vendor classification rules with the target financial model. Premier International executed automated vendor deduplication and survivorship processing and applied Critical to Quality validations to preflight conversion results against Infor system requirements and business rules. The technical architecture combined Infor CloudSuite with a dedicated data migration layer provided by Premier’s Applaud data migration software, which processed raw mainframe EBCDIC files and accelerated extraction without custom COBOL extracts. An additional target application, MHC Software, was implemented to support the city’s contract attachment requirements, creating a multi-system integration surface between financials, procurement, and contract management. Delta and exception reporting, along with readiness dashboards, were used throughout test cycles to focus limited city resources on changed, new, and problematic records and to produce detailed audit trail reporting. Program governance was driven by the city PMO and included regular readiness reporting, cross-team training for City staff, Infor consultants, and MHC consultants, and a data readiness process that tracked mappings, transformation exceptions, missing cross references, and configuration gaps. The implementation confronted elevated risk due to high project visibility, complex historical data, and staff turnover, so structured knowledge transfer and targeted remediation of data quality issues were emphasized ahead of each test cycle and production cutover. The data migration was completed using Premier’s migration services, Applaud software, and an EPACTL methodology, enabling the City of New Orleans to surface and resolve legacy and target data issues prior to go live. The approach automated vendor consolidation, processed extensive mainframe history, supported the complex financial history and audit trail needs, and was documented as successful by project stakeholders.
Compeer Financial Banking and Financial Services 1400 $477M United States Infor Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management ERP Financial 2019 n/a
In 2019, Compeer Financial deployed Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management as its ERP Financial platform to centralize corporate accounting and supply management processes. The implementation was executed as a cloud-based Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management rollout sized for a 1400 employee regional banking and financial services firm, targeting core finance and procurement operations. The deployment included core financial modules common to ERP Financial solutions, configured for general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, fixed assets and procurement and supply management workflows. Configuration work emphasized a controlled chart of accounts, multi-entity accounting, supplier invoicing and purchase-to-pay automation, and role based security for finance and procurement functions. Integration work explicitly aligned the Infor CloudSuite Financials & Supply Management instance with Compeer Financial reporting and analytics tools, leveraging OneStream and Axiom for consolidation and financial reporting, Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services for dashboarding and operational reports, and Salesforce for CRM record alignment. Data management and staging processes were established to preserve Compeer’s data definitions and data flow, and the technical footprint relied on SQL Server related tooling for query and report delivery. Governance and operational readiness centered on finance and accounting teams, with job level skills emphasizing accounting knowledge, familiarity with CloudSuite Financial, OneStream, Axiom, Power BI, SQL Server Management Studio and SSRS, and the ability to collaborate cross functionally. Role based access controls, structured change management, and reporting ownership were used to manage deployments and ongoing configuration, while finance process owners retained responsibility for data definitions, reconciliations, and financial statement integrity.
