Allianz Australia | Insurance | 5500 | $5.1B | Australia | SAP | SAP SuccessFactors AskHR | HR Service Delivery | 2024 | n/a |
In 2024, Allianz Australia implemented SAP SuccessFactors AskHR as part of its HR Service Delivery stack to centralize employee support for learning administration. The deployment sits inside the AllianzU learning ecosystem, integrating SuccessFactors LMS and Degreed, and supports planning, scheduling and coordination of learning programs, courses, re certifications and attestations.
SAP SuccessFactors AskHR is configured to manage AskHR ticket intake and case handling for learning related queries, including triage, escalation and resolution workflows, and is used to educate employees on how to raise AskHR tickets to improve problem resolution. The Learning Systems Administrator administers, sets up, manages and tests offerings in AllianzU to ensure accuracy of completion tracking and reporting, and owns customer queries raised as AskHR tickets.
Operational integrations are explicit between SAP SuccessFactors AskHR, SuccessFactors LMS and Degreed, enabling extraction and analysis of learning completion and activity data across platforms to provide a holistic compliance and business reporting view. The implementation’s operational coverage is centered on the Learning and Development function within Allianz Australia, supporting employee facing support workflows and ad hoc projects to enable L&D operations.
Governance work included documenting and updating AllianzU business processes, defining ticket handling procedures within AskHR, and developing reporting requirements to support compliance and business needs, with continuous improvement activities embedded in the role. BLS | Transportation | 3700 | $500M | Switzerland | SAP | SAP SuccessFactors AskHR | HR Service Delivery | 2024 | n/a |
In 2024 BLS AG implemented SAP SuccessFactors AskHR within its HR Service Delivery portfolio. The project sits on a broader SAP SuccessFactors HCM adoption that began in 2020, and the 2024 AskHR rollout focuses on centralizing employee service workflows for a Swiss transportation group operating rail, bus, car shuttle, shipping, and freight services.
The implementation used SAP standard content activation service to adopt standard processes with a target of at least 80 percent standard configuration, and it configured SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the single source of HR master data. SAP SuccessFactors AskHR was embedded into a process oriented HCM landscape that technically maps the full HR career lifecycle, and SAP SuccessFactors Document Management Core by OpenText was implemented as the employee dossier solution to enforce document lifecycles, role based access, and automated contract creation and storage.
Architecturally the deployment is cloud native for SuccessFactors modules while payroll, time management, and shared services remain on premise, and BLS migrated all master data from the on premise SAP ERP Human Capital Management solution into Employee Central to simplify downstream integrations. Planned integrations include connecting the planning tool for train personnel with time management and payroll, and adding interfaces for seldom used subprocesses such as requests for unpaid leave, preserving a hybrid cloud and on premise operational footprint.
Governance changes accompanied the technical rollout, roles and teams were defined and internal structures were realigned where possible to process responsibilities, and stakeholder management and user training were emphasized through the program. The system was received positively after initial HR skepticism, with reported benefits including congruent data across the HCM suite, elimination of media breaks, improved transparency of employee dossiers, and strengthened compliance controls through document lifecycle management.

Dwr Cymru Welsh Water | Utilities | 3500 | $978M | United Kingdom | SAP | SAP SuccessFactors AskHR | HR Service Delivery | 2018 | n/a |
In 2018 Dwr Cymru Welsh Water began a multi phase SAP SuccessFactors programme that included SAP SuccessFactors AskHR within its HR Service Delivery transformation to centralize HR case and service management across the HR function. The engagement positioned SAP SuccessFactors AskHR alongside core HR modules to standardize employee service workflows for a workforce of approximately 3500 employees.
The implementation delivered a broad set of SAP SuccessFactors modules over two phases, including Employee Central, Recruitment, Onboarding, EC Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors AskHR, Workforce Analytics, Concur, Performance and Goals PMGM, Succession, Compensation and Variable Pay, Learning LMS, and SAP Jam. Configuration work included payroll integration points, workforce reporting and analytics, performance and goal administration, learning management setup, and HR service desk case handling consistent with HR Service Delivery requirements.
Delivery and integration were executed with Capgemini as the systems integrator supported by a consulting team of about 15 onshore and 20 offshore resources, while Infosys provided application management services post go live. Concur was implemented as part of the programme to address expense and travel workflows, and Workforce Analytics was instrumented to feed HR reporting and operational dashboards.
Programme governance was led by an internal SAP SuccessFactors Programme Manager who ran a discovery phase with SAP, managed procurement to appoint the systems integrator, and controlled programme costs and budget. The programme office managed resources, change requests and external vendor contracts, and the programme ran through March 2021 with ongoing AMS support established for operational maintenance.

IBM UK | Professional Services | 20000 | $4.0B | United Kingdom | SAP | SAP SuccessFactors AskHR | HR Service Delivery | 2025 | n/a |
In 2025, IBM UK deployed SAP SuccessFactors AskHR as a conversational layer within its HR Service Delivery environment. The implementation positions SAP SuccessFactors AskHR as a manager-facing digital assistant that reduces the need for direct navigation of core HR interfaces, consolidating routine HR interactions into a single conversational entry point.
SAP SuccessFactors AskHR was configured to deliver guided, transactional workflows and automation for manager self-service, using scripted conversational paths to collect inputs, validate intent, and trigger downstream actions. Operational coverage focuses on IBM UK managers and HR service teams, centering on case resolution, request initiation, and common transactional tasks. Governance was adjusted to support automated actioning through the assistant, with workflow handoffs and approval controls integrated into existing HR processes to ensure compliance and traceability of conversationally initiated transactions.
